This cat ⬇️: “I swear I just looked at it and it fell over!!” There are some cat-friendly Christmas trees out there, although some cats I know would still find a way to destroy them. 🤣

I don’t understand the thrill of deliberately making a car skid on the icy roads around corners and fish-tail and come barrelling towards me and other pedestrians as I’m out for a walk, all the while the occupants of the vehicle are laughing and carrying on because it’s so “hilarious” and the driver thinks he’s so funny and macho. This happened to me twice yesterday while walking clients’ dogs! I’m somebody’s mama! And I’m walking defenceless dogs attached to me by a leash! How dare they put my safety at risk. The first driver was a 20 something male in a grey sedan, and the second was a teenage male with a load of friends in a red pickup truck, obviously a high school student showing off for his friends after leaving school in the south end, just after 3:30 pm. These stunts can go horribly wrong in an instant, and are not worth the thrill, but alas I’m not an adolescent male with an incompletely developed prefrontal cortex, unable to understand consequences of actions. Be safe out there, everyone! There are enough drivers trying to actually not skid around that we need to watch for, let alone having to navigate those doing it deliberately for a thrill.
