Double J Farms Established 1996 The farm is home to 35 horses, 30 head of Galloway show cattle, and 3 friendly dogs.

Jennifer McIlwraith began her equine journey at the age of 7 and founded Double J Farms in 1996, a 97-acre property that she runs with her husband, John, and daughter, Shelby. A Reserve Canadian Champion Western rider in 2000, Jen was also the first Western coach to receive the Ontario Equestrian Federation's Coach of the Year Award. Her passion for horses and dedication to her students are at the

heart of her work, with a strong emphasis on providing top-notch care where the well-being of the horses always comes first.

Well insulated 28 stall barn (10 x 10 and 10 x 12)
Indoor arena 80 x 120
Outdoor sand ring 100 x 200
Individual feed programs, grain-fed 2 times daily, supplements fed as provided by owner
Auto water/buckets in stalls
Heated troughs outside in winter
Blankets / fly masks on/off
Indoor wash stall with hot and cold water
Heated/air-conditioned lounge and viewing room with bathroom and fridge
Individual tack locker
Full day turnout weather permitting
Medications given when prescribed by vet
Bring your own farrier/vet or use ours
Night check every night
Basic first aid
Dedicated, experienced staff in the barn
Knowledgeable owners with 40+ years experience live on property
