Did you know February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month? Rabbits make wonderful pets! They are smart, interactive, affectionate, fun creatures! We should know - we have one! With that said, they are also complex and have very special needs. Always make sure you have done your research before getting a rabbit, and be aware that not all veterinarians are comfortable with caring for rabbits. Make sure you have a competent and available rabbit vet before you take on the responsibility of owning one! If you decide a rabbit is in your future, definitely look at rabbit rescues first - after all, why not rescue one that needs you? :)

Our city license is up to date, liability insurance has been renewed, and we are taking on new clients, as well as welcoming back all of our existing clients! January 2 is National Pet Travel Safety Day! Here are some statistics! Over 80% of dog owners drive with their dog/s in the car. Only 16% of people who transport their dogs use proper safety restraints. 17% of pet parents have allowed their dog to sit in their lap while driving. 60% of pet parents have driven while distracted by their dogs as passengers. Did you know? If a car crashes at 40kmh, an unrestrained dog could be projected at a force 40 times its weight. For the safety of your furry friend, dogs should be restrained in the back seat or cargo area, not in the front passenger seat, and never on the lap of the person driving. Never leave your dog unattended in a vehicle, as temperatures can rise or drop rapidly. (unattended dogs may also be more vulnerable to theft). Let's make 2025 a safe and happy year for all of our traveling pets!

On this day, the last of 2024, we wanted to reflect on our accomplishments!! While we have only been in business for - WOW!! 6-8 weeks!! - We have done quite a lot!! We cannot express just how grateful we are to our wonderful clients, and how much we are looking forward to continuing to look after you and your beautiful animals in the coming year! We are also looking forward to meeting all of our future clients in 2025! Here is a brief recap of the year 2024, and thank you profusely with all of our hearts, to our two-legged and 4-legged clients (and a few swimmers!) both present and future!! 🥰
