A lick mat can be a great tool.

But it will never replace structured fulfillment.

Dogs need more than distraction-based enrichment. They need movement, guidance, clear expectations, exposure to the world, and calm leadership.

Structured walks build confidence, engagement, neutrality, and better decision making. They help dogs learn how to exist calmly outside of the home - around people, dogs, wildlife, distractions, and real life.

That’s why choosing someone to handle your dog is such a big deal.

The experience, equipment, timing, handling skills, and energy of the person on the other end of the leash matters.

A good walk should do more than tire a dog out.
