A Better Chance Animal Rescue Non Profit Rescue. To restore hope to the homeless animals we rescue. We are a 'no kill' rescue. Donations are always appreciated in any amount.

We believe in the principle that a ‘safe place’ is a fundamental right for all animals, our primary aim is to offer a stabilizing base and support for homeless animals.” Our sole purpose is to make a difference in the animals lives that we rescue. We need people like you to share photo's of our animals that need homes, so that we are able to reach a wide audience with the hopes of a photo of an an

imal touching someone's heart, so they will open their heart and their home for that particular rescued animal. We have been rescuing animals for 28 years and do not have any government funding or any funding from anyone in particular. Our veterinary costs are always around $10,000 each MONTH.

🐾 Kitten Update: My Little Six Pack 🐾

These six babies are some of the sweetest kittens I have ever had the privilege of raising. They are all doing wonderfully and growing stronger every day. ❤️

Right now, the biggest challenge is keeping everyone clean and their fluffy little coats brushed and beautiful. With six kittens, there is never a dull moment!

They are still enjoying their heated setup and are being fed every four hours. One little lady has decided that bottles simply aren't her thing, so she prefers to be fed by syringe. As always, kittens like to remind me that they each have their own opinions and personalities!

I've introduced the litter box, and four of them are catching on very quickly. The other two are still deciding what they think about this new idea. 😹

I've also started offering wet food, but the response has been a unanimous "No thank you, we'll have our bottles instead!" I suspect that over the next week they'll begin showing more interest in solid food, but for now they're perfectly happy with their milk.

Even after all these years of raising orphaned kittens, I'm still learning. Every litter is different, and every kitten has their own unique little journey. Watching them grow and discover the world is one of the greatest rewards of rescue work.

Small-town communities truly are something special. We had the pleasure of seeing so many friendly faces and sharing countless smiles throughout the day.

We are thrilled to report that we served nearly 500 burgers! 🍔 What an incredible turnout and a fantastic day for our rescue.
