Tonight is a night that makes you appreciate what you have and a reminder not to take it for granted.

We lost our black and white tegu Tank tonight. We were fortunate enough to have him in our life and were able to make him a mainstay in our educational shows. Tank was 26+ years old, unfortunately we do not have an exact age but with information we had on him is age is ball parked at 26 to 28 years old.

Tonight, you are at peace and no more people grabbing at you or pulling on you.
Tank was as gentle as any I have ever know or had the chance to meet. He had never bitten or snapped at anyone or anything that was not food. He is truly one in a million and a part of our family. I really don’t have anything else to say I am at a loss for words right now,

Our Rescue Family is heartbroken.

What are you up to this weekend?

GNP Reptile Rescue will be at the Peterborough Armory Saturday Sept 27th
we will give a reptile demonstration and you will be able to get up close and see what we are all about. Fun, informative and great way to spend an afternoon!

$5 admission fee, $15 for a family
all proceeds to the rescue for housing and feeding our residents.

Hey everyone ..
Just wanted to apologize for our lack of info and pictures and such for adoptions. Its has been a very busy time for us and we have fallen behind on getting the info out for all of you and we are so very sorry for that.

However ... here is the good news. You can find our reptiles for adoption at our Expos in April and October as always but as of Feb 1st 2025 you will find our Adoption Center at House of Scales in Peterborough at 827 Chemong Rd. So if you want to see what's ready for adoption drop by there and see them. Will it be EVERYTHING we have ... of course not we have so many ready for adoption but many will be all in need of homes.

Just a quick update for everyone.
We have not forgotten about everyone wanting to adopt ..
We have been sick here and also have a few things brewing.
Maintaining all these guys has been absorbing alot of time.

Soon it will happen soon we ask for patience during this holiday time.

Mainly ball pythons on boas.

We were thinking of doing a live adoption night. Probably a Sunday evening.

Would do it auction style with low adoption donations starting .
A chance to help out and get some nice new pets reasonably priced out
