💡 VACCINE HIGHLIGHT 💡

Do you:
🔴 Take your dog to a groomer?
🔴 Take your dog to dog parks?
🔴 Take your dog to doggie daycare?
🔴 Take your dog to boarding kennels?

If you do any of these things with your canine companion you should consider vaccinating for Bordetella a.k.a Kennel Cough!

Kennel cough is a HIGHLY contagious illness affecting respiratory tract in dogs, characterized by a harsh, dry cough. All breeds and ages are susceptible.

Often caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica bacteria, its spreads in close quarters. Some dogs require veterinary care, however, most dogs recover in 1-2 weeks with rest.

You can carry Bordetella from dog to dog on your clothes and hands. It can also be spread through bedding, toys and food/water dishes

We offer the Bordetella vaccine in clinic, if you would like to add it to your vaccine regime call us and we can book an appointment!

Update on adoptees the “road rash litter”
These are the little ones that were thrown out of a vehicle and had some pretty significant road rash on their faces.

They are all doing well and being the most adorable kittens!

Rex and Peach (1st photo) were adopted together by their finders and enjoy cuddling with each other and their little humans all day and night

Pipsqueak managed to wiggle her way into Dr. Donaldsons house where she is part dog, part cat and all love
