Deciding to become a sustainable and eco-responsible new business is a choice.
It’s time-consuming. Expensive. Often times disheartening.
Suppliers change their packaging for plastic so you spend hours finding a new one. Many brands out there advertise that something is biodegradable or compostable to sound trendy but after some deeper research it actually isn’t. So you’re left with bad inventory.
You try your very best in every aspect to stay true to your brand, to scope out honest brands to work with, and to try to avoid at all costs giving in to cheaper faster more profitable options.
People next to you are scaling faster with bigger profit margins by ordering from big overseas corporations.
But despite all of these things against you (and I’m missing plenty)…
We will keep pushing through. Every. Single. Time.
Nothing, not even money should come at the expense of the planet. You figure it out. You make it happen. And you stick to your values.
Sure, our stuff might have a higher price tag, but you can be damn certain that you’re leaving with true quality.
And sure, we cater to a smaller niche of customers, but we love and honour that community as much as we honour the nature that surrounds us.
Every decision is a trade-off.
Every choice comes with a cost.
And we’ll keep choosing sustainability over all.
