There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a pet blossom before your eyes—going from uncomfortable and withdrawn to happy, relaxed, and full of life. And seeing the smile on their owner’s face as they reconnect with their transformed companion makes every moment worthwhile. Transformations like this are exactly why I love my work.

Spring clean-up season is here at Painted Paws Pet Spa! 🐾🌷

We had a great week grooming so many adorable pups, and everyone is looking fresh, fluffy, and ready for spring adventures! ☀️🐶

We did find a tick on one of our furry guests this week, which is a good reminder that tick season is officially here. After walks, especially in tall grass or wooded areas, be sure to give your dogs a quick tick check around their ears, neck, paws, and belly.
Stay safe, enjoy the warmer weather, and keep those tails wagging! 💛

As the weather warms up, these pesky critters become much more active—especially in tall grass and wooded areas. When you're out enjoying walks with your furry friend, be sure to stay on clear paths whenever possible and avoid letting them wander through dense grass.
After every outing, take a few minutes to check your pet thoroughly—ears, paws, belly, and around the collar area are common hiding spots. Early detection can make a big difference!
At Painted Paws Pet Spa, our groomers are always keeping an eye out during appointments. We often spot fleas and ticks that might otherwise go unnoticed, and we can safely remove them and let you know right away.
