Show season got off to a great start this weekend at Westar! Joanne Nicholson brought Sandro Prinz out to his first dressage show, finishing First Level AA Champion and riding some excellent tests! They pushed themselves a little further for a go around at Second Level test 1 on Sunday and finished top AA in the class with some great feedback from the judges. A great debut for this pair and a great start to the season!

Started and finished our show season today at West Star Farm in Ottawa. Holly had an excellent day on Forever Bloom, owned by Lin-Mar Farm, piloting Forever around her first ever dressage show and winning both her classes! Congrats Holly and Carol and Jim!! Great way to both start and finish the season!! 😛

I’m very excited to be able to offer ship in lessons on select days at this beautiful facility! Thank you to the entire gang there for such a warm welcome, Faith loves it there!!

We are proud to officially welcome Mr. Duncan Wood to our GLF team. GLF is now home base for him and his lovely mare, Faith. Duncan is very excited to be able to offer 'ship in' Lessons at our facility every Wed/Thurs/Fri, for riders of all levels.. 😁

Duncan started his riding career in the Eventing ring before shifting his focus to Dressage. Duncan has competed multiple horses in the FEI ring to top placings throughout Canada and the United States. He welcomes students of all levels and aims to provide a positive, relaxing and supportive environment for both horse and rider, as they progress towards their goals. A great weekend for the first show at Palgrave for the Woodlands team and the Porcupine Hill team. Too bad the last day was so wet, but it was good to get home early. Faith showed us she was born to be a DQ! Michelle and Declan showed the world what they can do, and it's onwards and upwards from here on!
