We're taking a brief one-week pause to prepare for some exciting new things heading our way! During this time, we'll be focusing on organizing and planning to serve our furry friends even better.

In the meantime, we are actively seeking compassionate fosters who can open their hearts and homes to animals in need. If you're interested in fostering, please reach out and submit your application!

🐾 **Meet Our New Intakes at Phoenix Animal Rescue!** 🐾

We’re excited to introduce two wonderful beagles who have just joined our rescue family!

✨ **Olivia** is a sweet, laid-back chocolate beagle who’s pregnant and just wants to be showered with love and cuddles. This silly girl brings a warm and gentle energy to our rescue, and she’s looking for a sponsor to help provide for her and her future puppies.

✨ **Khola** (pronounced “cola”) is our energetic black and white beagle who’s ready to play! Full of life and excitement, Khola loves to explore and be on the go. He’s in need of a sponsor to support his adventures and care.

Both Olivia and Khola will be with us for a little while as they have some weight to gain, pups to wait for and some vet appointments to make sure no more puppy making is in there books for the future! Before deemed able to adopt, and we are seeking sponsors to help cover their needs as well as those of other upcoming pups. If you’re interested in making a difference in their lives, please reach out!

📣 **Donation Request from Phoenix Animal Rescue Ottawa!** 🐾

Hello, amazing community!

We are reaching out to see if anyone is able to donate the following items:

- Medium dog crates
- Small dog crates
- Blankets and dog beds
- Any extra leashes and collars

We have tons of dogs in our care that we like to send home with their personal items (collar, leash, bed, etc.), so we go through these items quickly! While crates and carriers stay within the Rescue for our fosters to use as needed, your generous donations will help us ensure every dog has the essentials they need.

We are thrilled to announce that our rescue organization is preparing for the intake of a pregnant Beagle dog! This lovely girl will soon be in our care, where she will receive all the love, attention, and veterinary care she needs to ensure a happy and healthy pregnancy.

**Exciting Changes at Phoenix Animal Rescue Ottawa!**

We are thrilled to announce that Phoenix Animal Rescue Ottawa is undergoing a transformative revamp into a breed-specific dog rescue! After extensive research into existing breed-specific rescues across Ontario, we've identified a unique niche where we believe our experience can make a significant impact.

While we can't reveal all our plans just yet, we are committed to providing tailored support and rehabilitation for dogs in need, focusing on specific breeds. Our goal is to create a safe, loving environment where these dogs can thrive and find their forever homes.

To achieve this vision, we need your help! We are actively seeking passionate individuals to join our team—whether you have experience in animal care, fundraising, marketing, or just a love for dogs, there's a place for you at Phoenix Animal Rescue.

we are currently looking for volunteers all around Ontario for this one! as we will be Ontario based not just city based, with our current funding we are looking for the following volunteers

● Social media management

● Fosters around Ontario with WORKING dog experience

●Drivers from all over willing to help

● Specific city based volunteers in the following spots Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston and a few of the surrounding areas

● Website designer / creator

● Website manager

● Outreach staff

Dear supporters and animal lovers,

We have some bittersweet news to share. Phoenix Animal Rescue Ottawa will be temporarily closing as we embark on an exciting relocation to a new city! We are incredibly grateful for all that we have accomplished together in Ottawa, and we can't thank you enough for your support and dedication to our mission.

While we prepare for this transition, we are still looking for passionate volunteers in Ottawa to help us with several important roles, including:

- Online Marketing
- Event Planning
- A few other minor roles

🌟 Meet Dakota! 🌟

This sweet girl is a 6-month-old Lab and Pit Bull mix, and she’s ready to find her furever home! Dakota is the perfect blend of calm and playful – she loves her quiet time but can also get her zoomies on and keep you entertained!

Dakota has already received her first and second set of vaccinations, so she’s on her way to being the healthiest pup she can be. With her gentle disposition and playful spirit, she’s sure to make a wonderful companion.

If you’re looking for a sweet, loving dog who has a lot of love to give, Dakota might just be the perfect fit for you! 🐶❤️

🐾Help Give Dex The Help He Needs🐾

Dear friends and animal lovers,

We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt appeal. We have recently come across a sweet dog in need of urgent care and support. So dex is going to be 3 in January
He suffers from entropion and ectropion. He is a service dog for ptsd, anxiety and seizures. He has optometrist appointment Monday Dec 23 as his entropion has caused an ulcer in his eye, and if not treated asap he will go blind in that eye (left eye) this dog is this womans absolute best friend. Now because of his size, the entropion surgery will be costly. He's 160lbs purebred Cane Corso. With baby coming anytime, and another rescue in the home, 5k in car repairs needed and Xmas her finances will not permit another vet visit. Plz help Her keep Her service dog and fur child....

To help cover the costs of everything he is going through we are seeking donations from our community. Every little bit helps and will go directly toward Dex's medical care and day to day needs
