Vanier Street Cats is the home of the Rescues in Need Foundation. We are the support system that keeps Ottawa’s rescue community moving. Our work focuses on three core areas:
✔️ Helping local pet owners keep their animals through direct support and resources.
✔️ Supporting local rescues by funding critical overhead costs like transport, logistics, and volunteer expenses.
✔️ Backing up volunteers w

ith the financial help they need to keep going. When no one else can move the work forward, we do. We manage the chaos. We build the infrastructure that makes local rescue sustainable—so the people saving animals don’t burn out and the animals aren’t left waiting. We’re starting in Ottawa. And this is where rescue support begins.

We have ONE donation in can we find a second one to start Snow's accouint when the vet opens tomorrow morning and I book his exam for his horrible cough!

Thank you for everything you do, I am a pain in the patoot but I truly am dedicated to looking after cats that are not normal and I have no regrets other than you don't get rich when you house, feed and hospice 15 cats in your home as they are in their end of life stages.

FREE DONATION RAFFLE For Snow our Chonk Star with Asthma that is coughing so badly he needs to go into the clinic.

Every donation no matter the amount is entered in another unique Lucky Elephant bejeweled figurine that hides little pieces of jewelry or whatever like inside its so cute.

NOTE: All donation draws for each pet will be drawn at the conclusion of their donation requests and they conclude their vet care.
