Our Story

We are located in Kanata (west of Ottawa), less than a minute from the Queensway. We have been in operation since 1999, catering to domestic and small animals. Our vision is to provide a personalized level of health care for pets because we believe that pets are an important part of our families. We also believe that keeping them healthy involves a partnership between you as caregiver and us as a health care provider. Our practice is based on preventative care and wellness, to keep your pet as healthy as possible for as long as possible. During each half hour appointment, we are able to get to know you, your pet and your lifestyle so we can provide personalized care for your pet, including parasite prevention, vaccination, nutritional counselling, behavioural counselling, routine lab testing, senior wellness care and so much more!

Services we provide include medical, surgical, health & wellness, emergency/critical care and diagnostics including x-rays and lab testing. We consult with you every step of the way and encourage you to ask questions and become as informed and involved as possible.

We keep up with the rapidly changing nature of pet health through a commitment to continuing education for all of our staff, to ensure we provide our clients with the most up-to-date techniques and knowledge. There is a lot of information regarding pet care available from a variety of sources these days; we are always ready and willing to guide you through this information to sort the relevant from the irrelevant.
