Having 3 pups here over the weekend was not good for my puppy fever!

We have 2 malinois pups here for training and one of Niya's pups, Bear, came for boarding.

Puppy fever is in full swing!

Peaches 🍑 (almost 3 months old)

There is something to be said about the last pup to go. We are always in such a rush to pick up our puppy as soon as we can (i do this too) but the difference it makes keeping a pup until 12 weeks vs 8 weeks is huge.

Peaches is the happiest pup I've ever seen. She is so confident, playful, smart, and she isn't intimidated by big dogs at all. She loves the water and doesn't get nervous in new surroundings. A big reason for that is because she has been able to gain her confidence with her momma and the other dogs she grew up with.

Plus she is completely crate trained and doing GREAT with potty training! Those few extra weeks will really set your dog up for success in the future.

I'm not saying I'm going to start keeping all pups until 12 weeks but the difference in the dog has been significant so don't be surprised if it becomes a thing in the future lol!
