I have a couple of flexible riding opportunities available. Open to discussions on financials, logistics, etc. but horses must remain in my program.

Small pony, younger sport horse up to well schooled horses. Pony is suitable for novice riders, the horses require more experienced riders.

Very nice horses that have a lot to offer and teach. Leasing and showing opportunities available (Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing and Dressage show options). The right fit for each horse is most important- so I will be very picky on riders as these are my personal horses and I want them to remain happy and click with their riders.

Great learning opportunity with many flexible options! We have a super positive and encouraging group of riders with no drama and want to keep it that way. 💕

Finding the right fit is our number one priority. There is a trainer for every horse (and their human) we want to make sure the fit is perfect for all involved. At Onyx Equine we believe in listening to each individual horse and offering a training approach that is patient, consistent and provides clear communication to the horses. By avoiding force and punishment, we create well-rounded horses that are both confident, willing and respectful. We maintain a small and personalized training program, ensuring all horses have necessary attention and nobody is cut short.

Chelsea Clouter is a patient, skilled and tactful rider who emphasizes on happy and confident horses when training. She specializes in off-track thoroughbreds and problem/difficult horses. Her weight also allows her to break and train most ponies as well. Whether it is starting young horses, offering a solid and respectful foundation, finishing/tune ups on seasoned horses, “problem” horses, sales consignment; every horse is different, with their own timeline. This is why, with you as owners, we design a personal training program tailored to each horse.

Our training program focuses on consistent progress and CLEAR communication with frequent updates, including photos and videos. We want you to feel confident and comfortable trusting your horse with us, this is why we believe in communication and you being able to visit your horses when you want. Lessons available when horses are progressing as desired, we want to see you continuing the training and thriving as a team together.

We also offer freelance lessons and have a Silver series show team as well as schooling show options. A great, positive and encouraging team that focuses on making progress and enjoying the process.
