🚨URGENT: Please help Oreo survive!
This is going to be a very expensive treatment for Oreo. Not only is Oreo’s sugar levels low, but his sodium levels are the highest OVC vets have ever seen. Currently the levels are unreadable.
Do we know why? Sadly not yet because they’ll have to do more testing, but the testing required can’t happen until the sodium levels are decreased and readable. It’s a slow and steady process because if the sodium is removed from the body too quickly, the brain will swell and could cause death.
This is an urgent cry for help! Please consider helping us by SPONSORING OREO so he can stay at OVC and receive medical treatment!
$40.00 for 1 hour of care at OVC and they said it could be up to 4-6 days of care required. I cannot put him down without giving him a fair and fighting chance so please help if you can. Sponsorship names will be recorded and hours posted once paid.

Please send your EMT to [email protected] or comment “paid one hour” below to help this boy. I don’t want to lose him and I know he is a trooper!
Background Info:
Oreo came into our care in August of this year as a neonate and as a result of him being born with a bilateral cleft lip. He has recently been in the care of a loving foster family and was scheduled for his cleft lip repair later this month.
Sadly, over the last couple of days Oreo has not been feeling well. He was given sub q fluids yesterday, which seemed to help and he did quickly perked up. However, he has since quickly declined and is currently on his way to see a specialist at OVC. He’s very lethargic at this time, with a lack of appetite so we are extremely concerned, especially with his sudden weight loss as well.
If you’re able to contribute towards his care, here are a few ways you can donate:
👉Or EMT’s can be sent to [email protected] and year end receipts are available but please include your full name and address in the comment section of your EMT.
Thank you so very much!
