Good day everyone,

I know it has been a while. I’ve been doing my best to keep my mind busy and preoccupied during this whole ordeal. However, after the initial shock, there truly is no avoiding the new reality we are all living. My heart breaks thinking about the impact this fire has had on so many.

First, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has helped or thought of us during this devastating time. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude or repay all the kindness and support I have received. We are truly blessed, and I will always be grateful.

The wonderful Jessica Doyle, owner and operator of Bark Side of the Groom in Bay De Verde, has generously offered me the use of her salon on days she is not in operation. From one groomer to another, I cannot express how thankful I am.

With that said, if any of my clients would like to book an appointment, please reach out to me, and I will gladly get you scheduled. I also offer travel to and/or from appointments for clients in the up-the-shore, Carbonear, and surrounding areas, as I understand Bay De Verde may be a bit far for some. I will do my best to accommodate whenever possible.

There will never be any words to explain the devastation that I am feeling right now. Not only was it a home—my children’s home—and my career that I have worked so hard to progress in over the last couple of years, but it’s also my old school. It’s my son’s school, where he’s been beyond blessed to go; it’s the school that I was so excited for my daughter to attend because there truly are no words to describe how amazing and close-knit our little school community and all the amazing staff were.

I drove our beautiful North Shore every single morning for the last few years. It’s where I would laugh and joke with my kids on our drives home; it’s where I would blast my music and feel like I had zero worries; it’s where I would cry alone and miss my dad and wish he was here to see the beautiful life that I had worked so hard to build after already dragging myself out of rock bottom eight years ago after he had passed. It’s where we would see our neighbors driving towards us, and we would wave our hands and go about our day, knowing that tomorrow we would likely see them again on our travels. It’s me rushing to get home because I was so excited to start my workday with all the most wonderful clients I could have ever imagined having.

With businesses, you will sometimes hear about how they have a difficult customer or a client that is hard to please, and I was oh so very lucky to say that I have none of you to say that about. You have all been beyond good to me, and I am forever grateful for every single one of you. At this time, I don’t have all of the answers as to when I will be in operation again, but I assure you it’s my goal to rise above this and get back to doing what I love the best, which is spending each day with your fur babies. 🥺❤️🙏🐩

I just wanted to send out another message to my clients who have been devastatingly impacted by this tragedy happening on our beautiful North Shore. I thrive with routine and you and your fur babies are a huge part of my every day life and I miss you all with my entire heart. Although there are too many of you to reach out to individually, I just want you all to know that you have all crossed my mind at one point or another and my heart is with you all. I pray that this all ends soon ♥️🙏♥️ and again, if there is anything that you guys may need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I will do everything I can to help!! I did manage to get some of my grooming supplies and my nail clippers being one of them so if anyone is in need of a desperate nail trim, you can reach out and we can make an arrangement to get you held over until please God we are back up and running soon 🙏♥️ Also, I just want to say there truly are no words to describe how beyond blessed we are to have such wonderful first responders, risking their lives and putting their all into fighting this monster fire so we can all get back to our families and please god our homes! 🙏♥️ I hope to see you all soon!

Good morning, everyone. As many of you know, we're currently under evacuation standby due to the potential impact of OPC. To ensure the safety of my family—including my two kids, our dogs, cats, ferret, and chickens—we've relocated to Caplin Cove.

My heart goes out to everyone affected during this difficult time. If there's anything at all I can do to assist, please don't hesitate to reach out. I have extra supplies of dog, cat, ferret, and chicken food available for those in need. Additionally, I'll be heading to Carbonear today and am happy to pick up any essential items for those who can't get there themselves.

Please stay safe, and know that my thoughts are with you all. For those with scheduled appointments, I will be in touch to reschedule as soon as it's safe to do so.
