It is with great sadness that we say farewell to one of our very frequent and loved members of BHS Boarding and Grooming. Mack was a one of a kind boy, one all the staff will always remember. You were loved by many Mack. Run free big guy 😪. Our heart felt condolences to Mac's family from all BHS staff.

IT'S TIKA TUESDAY!!! 🥳 Tika has now spent 240 DAYS waiting for someone to take her home for good.

Today, let's focus on that traits of Tika's breed. We love our Staffies!!!

The "Staffy" (or American Staffordshire Terrier) is a very sweet-natured breed. They form strong bonds with their families and love exercise and enrichment. They are energetic and intelligent and they have the biggest smiles! This breed can be challenging because they are stubborn and protective. When mixed with other breeds, different traits can come through in their personalities.

For Tika, this means that she does well with friendly, submissive dogs (especially males). She does find it difficult to get along with dogs who are aggressive or especially dominant. She's definitely suited to be the Queen of her domain! However, she's lived her fur foster siblings (a dog and a cat) very successfully for over 6 months now.

Tika has a lot of things going for her! She LOVES her walks and exploring. She's also an accomplished gopher hunter! With an experienced owner, Tika is an amazing dog and we love her a lot!
