Carriage Bags Thank you for visiting my shop! My handmade bags and totes are custom designed by me, in my home studio in Southern Ontario. Welcome to Carriage Bags!

I have always enjoyed creating and was fortunate to belong to a group of 'craft sisters' who met every week for over 20 years! We learned to make a variety of crafts but I always returned to making bags for my loved ones, friends, and friends of friends. I received many compliments over the years and the encouragement to branch out. And that is how Carriage Bags came to be. All of the sewing and d

esigning is done by me in my home studio in Niagara on the Lake, in a non-smoking and pet-free environment. I create custom orders. If you find a style that you like in my store and would like it in different fabric, or would like to customize a bag with special feature like a different strap length or style, please feel free to contact me, Marie.

Perfect for winter!

New selection of handmade washable tweed masks. Both outer fabric and lining are 100% cotton.

These masks are the fitted style that curve up around the nose and under the chin giving a secure fit, with adjustable elastic loops for comfortable wear.

Hello everyone! Although all craft fairs have been cancelled (postponed!) due to Covid-19, Carriage Bags is still operating and creating new products! In addition to bags, I now have face masks with a focus on safety first (all made with two layers of 100% high thread count cotton) and of course fun and interesting fabric.
