Looking for a hidden gem of a purebred Country horse for your AATR, JTR, or Select Rider? Want to own your very own Freedman model? How about keeping your trainer happy by having a super low-maintenance show horse to work?

Pheiranormal CRF ("Perry") uniquely fits all these needs: a proven, versatile, and low-maintenance purebred with the added value of being broke to drive this winter, and already looks like he could wear roses in that division as well.

Over the past few years, his owner has taken time off to have a family, so Perry has been lightly shown. Even so, he has been competing in open English pleasure and bringing home solid ribbons in big all-bred classes! He has also built a stellar Arabian show record. He was Top Ten at US Nationals in the 19-39 age group, finishing 3rd overall. He also scored a Top Ten at US Nationals in the Select division (out of 50 horses!) with a rider who was competing in only her second saddle seat class ever. To top it off, he was Reserve at Region 12 with a 55 & over amateur in their very first class together.

His owner has switched to Saddlebreds, but we loved Perry too much to let him go. Still, we're doing him a disservice by keeping him out of the Arabian show world—he has the talent, mind, and resume for lasting success. We're not in a rush to part with him and will ensure he finds the right fit.

This beautiful and incredibly sweet mare is a full sister to well known breeding stallion, VJ's Royal Heir. GiGi, as she is known in the barn, has been a pleasure to work with. She was bought with the intention of being a country horse for her amateur owner, but we have recently come to realize she would be happiest as a hunter and we want her to continue to enjoy her job. She is quickly showing us she has what it takes to make a fancy hunter. Although she is unshown, the prep work is all done. She has traveled and worked at a show this past year and took in all the sights like a pro. She hauls and clips the best, is easy to shoe and has no barn vices. She stands a solid 15.2 and is the easiest keeper in the barn. With her great breeding, she would also be a fantastic addition to a breeding program and will absolutely love that job as well.

Her owner is a saddleseat rider, has bought another horse and unfortunately can only keep one. GiGi is priced reasonably in the low 5 figures and her owner is negotiable for the right home as that is of the utmost importance for us.

Late 4 year old (September foal) half Arab gelding.

Harvey is 15.3 hands and still has some growing to do. He is solid w/t/c, rides easily inside and out and has a great work ethic. He is more of a push ride, not going to take off with you. Once you ride his canter that will be all you want to do!! Has been trail ridden and is regularly ridden by amateurs and has now started doing some lessons. He is trainer owned and being sold as we need the space for client horses. He is absolutely ready to shine in the sport horse division, with either an amateur or junior rider. He has also been free jumped over a small crossrail and looks to have great potential there (video available)

This super cute 4 year old Morgan mare has a big future ahead of her. She was started late due to no fault of her own, but is now green broke to ride and looks to be a great prospect for the competitive Hunter division. Stands like a star at the mounting block, and also longlines well. Nice to handle in the barn and wants to be in your pocket. 'Lovey' is 14.3h, but has the presence of a much larger horse. As much as her owners love her, they are really in need of a mature show horse for their young family and as such she is now available.

This 7 year old purebred Arab mare has wins both in Performance Halter as well as Hunter at the Regional level. Not shown for the past 2 years due to COVID and border restrictions. She is fit and ready to show. Video in the comments, is of her at a show last month (unfortunately it was a Morgan breed show, she traveled with us to work). Continue with her as a Hunter or as her pedigree shows, she would be an asset as a broodmare . She has a good work ethic and is pleasant to have in the barn. Owner is turning her focus to saddleseat and as such Ellie is being offered for sale. She is reasonably priced and owner is motivated to sell.

As most are aware, there was an extension added to the State of Emergency in Ontario today. With that we will have to be also adding an extension to the length of time the barn is closed. In following with the State of Emergency we will remain closed until April 15th, at that time we will re-evaluate. We really appreciate the support and we hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. The horses are all starting to wonder when their 'treat givers' will be back, but rest assured they are all getting properly spoiled! We miss you all ❤️

Due to the declared state of emergency that has just been declared in the Province of Ontario, we have made the decision to close Sterling Stables LLC to the public at this time. Staff will still be onsite to keep the care and well being of your horses our top priority and they will continue their regular training routines. During this time there will be no lessons or outside visitors. We will remain closed until March 30th, 2020 and will re-evaluate at that time. While we will miss seeing you all at the barn, we want to see everyone healthy. Please feel free to contact us at anytime, we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
