Brag post & long post ahead, stick with me.
I've been pretty absent from social media in the last little while, and there's a couple of reasons for that. When I make posts, my inbox gets flooded with spam messages, that usually takes me hours to clean up. Not only does it take time, it kills our business algorithm, and posts aren't seen by people because they're rarely interacted with.
We brought a new puppy home as you know, and it was a huge adjustment integrating Opie and we all know how time consuming puppies are 😅
I've also just needed to take a break, spend more time with family, the dogs, training, meeting personal goals, and taking care of my health.
Yes, I'm still making cakes, I'm still working, im revamping some items, removing some, and working on adding some new ones. I want to get back to regular deliveries & bringing extra special treatos to your dogs at home.
Brag time:
Judge and I attended our first full scent detection trial this weekend, he got his instinct title last year but the rest of the trial was full. He went 3 for 3 at the Novice level, nailing his container, interior & exterior searches giving him his Scent detection Novice title.
However, the highlight of my weekend is when he got Judges choice. She said "this is a dog I really enjoyed watching all weekend, when he comes in, he comes in to work. My pick is Judge" And I almost cried. Judge does indeed love to work.
He absolutely exceeded my expectations. Keep working towards those goals with your dogs, try new things! You'll be surprised at what they love. Any dog can compete in scent!
Special congratulations and thank you to Sarita at East Coast Canine Dog Training for an amazing weekend with Leeloo. Thank you for all of your help and support getting Judge ready to trial. If anyone is interested in scent, don't hesitate to reach out to her and start training.
Another shout out to a regular customer of mine, Jess Browne and her dog Jade competed and had an amazing weekend at the trial!
