Alrighty so Zoey's foot is now healed, I would have much preferred a broken toe except for just lacerations to be honest because the bad one that went parallel to her nail bed unfortunately created alot of scar tissue. That area wasn't able to be sutured because of the location so even though she's never even limped since the accident, everytime I cleaned it and put pressure I could tell that it was sore so now the next and final step is Laser Therapy which I'm super excited and we should see reduction in scar tissue and inflammation so Zozo is starting on Friday and should be back to her old self in no time. 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜🐾🐾
What Lazer Therapy does :
Reduced Scar Tissue Formation:
Laser therapy helps minimize scar tissue by promoting more organized tissue regeneration. The therapy can guide collagen production in a way that leads to less noticeable scarring.
Accelerated Healing:
Laser therapy stimulates cell growth and repair, leading to faster wound closure and overall healing.
Reduced Inflammation:
By reducing inflammation, laser therapy can improve healing and minimize discomfort associated with scar tissue formation.
Improved Circulation:
Increased blood flow to the affected area delivers more oxygen and nutrients, further supporting the healing process.
Pain Reduction:
Laser therapy can help relieve pain associated with scar tissue and inflammation, contributing to a more comfortable recovery for the dog.
Enhanced Nerve Function:
In some cases, laser therapy can improve nerve function, which may be beneficial for dogs experiencing nerve-related issues due to scar tissue
Laser therapy is a non-invasive and drug-free option that can be used to address various conditions in dogs, including scar tissue management, wound healing, and pain relief
