We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.

Position Details

· Full-time: 5 days per week

· Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch: 12-1pm)

· Schedule: Monday–Friday

· Start date: 1 October

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, maintaining patient records, and supporting the veterinary team with day-to-day reception duties.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

· Friendly, professional, and compassionate

· Excellent with clients and comfortable around animals

· Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment

· Reliable and punctual

· A strong communicator and team player

· Previous veterinary reception or animal-care experience is an asset

For all clients attending our Healing with Horsepower meeting tomorrow.
We have decided to have the entire meeting at the Virden Animal Hospital equine clinic. This will be comfortable for everyone in the air-conditioned area and there will be enough room for everyone. Please join us at the clinic for 10am, lunch will be served around noon with an informative presentation to follow.
We expect the entire event will run from approx 10am - 2pm. If you did not RSVP but would like to come, please send an email to [email protected] to let us know.

Attention clients!

Thursday July 23rd Dr Oliver will be on holidays and not in the office for appts but the clinic will be open for retail sales .
The clinic will be closed Friday July 24.

The Virden Animal Hospital is available for consultations and emergencies July 23 & 24.

The week of July 27th to July 30th, Dr. Oliver will be available for afternoon appointments between 1-4 pm. Please call to secure an appt.
