☀️ Summer weather is back! ☀️

With the warmer temperatures rolling in, I wanted to give everyone a quick update on my summer dog walking policy to help keep your pups safe and comfortable during the heat!

🐾 25°C and up = walks will be shortened to 30 minutes
🐾 30°C and up = walks will be switched to a drop-in visit instead of a walk

Why? Because your pet’s safety always comes first. Hot temperatures can quickly become dangerous for dogs, increasing the risk of overheating, dehydration, and burned paw pads from hot pavement. While many dogs love being outside, summer heat can be much harder on them than we realize!

That said, every dog is different. Age, breed, coat type, health, and energy level all play a role in how well they tolerate heat. If your dog has a lower heat tolerance or specific limits you’d like me to follow, please let me know, I’m always more than happy to tailor care to what’s best for your pup.

My top priority is your pet’s well-being and making sure every visit is safe, fun, and enjoyable 🐶

Happy National Rescue Dog Day 🐾

These are the pups I’ve had the pleasure of fostering over the last year and a half, including Rosie, who became my foster fail last year 😂
And of course I had to add a picture of my soul dog, Kash. We rescued him at 3 months old and said goodbye just before his 11th birthday 💙
Rescue dogs will always hold a special place in my heart. Kash was my first dog on my own, and he was truly my soul dog. He carried me through some of the hardest seasons of life and was there for so many of our biggest moments. Rescue dogs have a way of changing you forever.

It’s officially official! Winston has been adopted and went to his forever family today 🥳 We will miss him so much but our hearts are so full knowing he’s found his forever. I can sit here and say I don’t get attached.. but let’s be real, of course I do. Letting them go is never easy, but this is exactly why we do it ♥️
