Join Koby Ziemmer for an exclusive team roping clinic. Each day is a separate clinic, giving more students the chance to learn in a small, focused group setting.

Koby is recognized as one of the most talented young ropers and horsemen in the industry. From his exceptional ability with a rope to his expertise in training top-quality rope horses, his reputation continues to grow.

During the clinic, students will work on:
• Roping the dummy on the ground
• Practice with the Heel-O-Matic
• Potential live cattle runs (depending on readiness)

Jon, a skilled heavy duty mechanic raised in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta, has spent over 15 years turning wrenches and mastering the trade. From welding and engine swaps to interior RV repairs and CVIP inspections, Jon is known for doing it all — and doing it right. His versatility and hands-on experience make him a go-to expert in any shop he steps into.

Beyond the shop, Jon is a proud Indigenous man who maintains a trap line in northern Alberta. He’s deeply connected to the land and passionate about the outdoors, spending his free time hunting, fishing, and sharing his knowledge with the next generation. Whether he’s under the hood or out on the land, Jon leads with pride, purpose, and a strong sense of tradition.

Buffy Romeo was raised just outside Mayerthorpe, Alberta, where her deep roots in western life shaped her into one of Canada’s most respected barrel horse trainers. Known for her sharp eye and tireless work ethic, Buffy has developed multiple horses that have gone on to compete at the Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) and even the National Finals Rodeo (NFR). She proudly competed at the CFR herself in 2005—a milestone in her accomplished career.

A dedicated mother to one son, Buffy balances her work and motherhood with unmatched grit. Whether she’s replacing bearings in the shop, laying down WERM flooring, managing inventory, or supporting events at 43 Equine, Buffy is always hands-on. She continues to train and develop exceptional equine athletes, earning a reputation for honesty, toughness, and an unshakable love for the sport and the animals she works with.

From the barn to the arena, Buffy Romeo represents the true spirit of a working horsewoman: skilled, steady, and all heart.

This past June, we proudly hosted the very first Canadian 𝐒𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 —𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐔.

It was an empowering week of learning, connection, and hands-on ranching with an incredible group of women from across the globe. From cattle handling to leadership, confidence-building, and connection, every moment was packed with purpose (and a whole lot of fun).

We're so proud to have hosted this groundbreaking event and can't wait to see how it continues to grow.
