Not the best way to start the New Year 😭😭
Lacey woke up Friday just “off”
She would walk a few steps and lay down…definitely not her happy self
After taking her to the emergency vet…
Blood tests (all were fairly normal)
Then X-rays and more X-rays…then an ultra sound
There it was!! A big huge tumour in her abdomen with 5 little holes. Leaking blood and poison into her belly 😭😭😭
Definitely not what we were wanting to hear!
And when the vet says nothing can be done…it was like a kick to the gut 😭
Leaving the vet clinic without Lacey is a feeling I wish on no one
Hug your family members a little closer
