Full Day Pony Camp!

Monday, 20th July 9:30am-3:30pm

Children can join us for a full day of pony camp where they will be given an opportunity to learn how to safely be around and handle horses.
We will take a walk with the horses together to the indoor arena and challenge the obstacle course.
Before we have a break for lunch we will talk about different feeds for horses and everyone will prepare lunch for their horsey companion, then we will take the woodland walk to the brook for lunch and play the famous 'String Game'! We will also make a craft and visit all the goats.
Near the end of the day everyone will have a leadline ride on our lovely mare, Bijou, and be given a short and basic lesson on riding a horse (This is optional for each child, even if they just want to sit in the saddle for a minute, we will take it at their pace).
A photo will be taken of each child with their horse for the day and mailed out to them at a later date.

For ages 6-13
$65 per child

Our Leadline Division is the perfect opportunity for children 10 years & under to experience the excitement of a horse show in a fun, supportive environment! Riders are led by an adult while showing off their skills at the walk and trot/jog. No previous show experience is needed—just come out and have fun!
English or Western tack. Leadline Classes Include: 🐎 Pleasure 🌲 Trail ➡️ Down & Back 🥄 Egg & Spoon 🛢️ Barrels 🏁 Poles The Trail class features kid-friendly obstacles like poles, weaving, backing, a bridge, and carrying an object—designed to build confidence and keep things fun! Whether it's your child's first horse show or they're already hooked, we'd love to see lots of smiling faces in the ring.

4H Achievement Day was this week and it was wonderful to see the children eager and focused on their projects. Everyone did a fantastic job! Well done to you all, looking forward to the 4H show at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition in mid-August 😀

📚 Read to a Pony Day 📚

TODAY - Sunday, 19th July
10am - 2pm

Be in a fun and relaxed environment around some of our lovely miniature horses and goats. Pet and groom them while they munch on some hay or rest in their stables. Each child who visits gets to choose a book from our collection of books, read to any pony (or goat) and take the book home with them.

All ages welcome.
Admission is $5 per person.
Pony rides will also be offered for $5 for up to the age of 6. The rain is supposed to clear up by mid morning.
