This is a hard one
Horribly depressed to announce that there was a really traumatic incident in my reptile room involving Venom. On several occasions, he’s managed to escape his enclosure. It’s not usually a big deal, as my reptile room is escape proof itself, so I generally find missing animals within a few minutes. At Some point between last night when I went to bed, and this afternoon, he did just that again. Injuring himself as he escaped, as it’s a TIGHT, squeeze. And from there, without my knowledge, another one of my animals got ahold of him and killed him. This afternoon, finding his lifeless body was extremely hard to see, and digest exactly what happened. I find some comfort in knowing that based on his injuries, he didn’t suffer, but I’m horribly upset about this. This is by far the worst death that’s happened to an animal in my care. And a learning curve for sure. Rest in peace venom 😞😞😞😞😞 please no rude comments, this is hard enough
