PEMF vs. Equitron – What's the Difference?
I often get asked how the Equitron Pro differs from traditional PEMF therapy.
While both therapies are non-invasive and aim to support your horse's comfort and well-being, they work differently.
PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field)
• Uses pulsed electromagnetic fields.
• Primarily targets cells by influencing electrical activity within tissues.
• Commonly used to support circulation, recovery, and overall wellness.
Equitron Pro
• Uses a combination of bioelectrical stimulation, electrostatic fields, magnetic fields, and light frequencies.
• Works with the body's own bioelectrical communication to encourage natural healing processes.
• Can be adjusted to suit the individual horse and treatment goals. • Often used to address muscle tension, restricted movement, discomfort, and support recovery.
✨ I chose the Equitron because of its versatility and the ability to tailor treatments to each horse's individual needs.
As a Certified Equine Therapist and Master Saddle Fitter, I combine Equitron therapy with gait assessment, bodywork, and saddle fitting to provide a comprehensive approach to helping your horse move comfortably and perform at its best.
