RIP Hazel
An owl managed to get into the coop this afternoon, and our bold girl didn’t make it.

Hazel was a standout from the very beginning—the first to hop out of the coop each morning, the bravest and most confident of the flock. The rest of the flock made it through, and knowing Hazel, I can only imagine she put up a good fight, doing what she always did: leading from the front.

She had a big personality and a strong presence, and she’ll be missed. 🤍
