2025 AAC Agility National Championship

Hugo - Runner up National Champion 🥈
Also 2nd Place Overall for International Rounds - winning a spot on Team Canada’s 2026 IFCS Team going to Spain!

Guus - Won a few individual placements and had a lot of fun 😊

2025 UKI Spitfire Cup

This was Guus’ first real competition. He had many good pieces (and a few off courses 😅). He had a perfect Snooker round (1st place) and a good Gamble (2nd place) winning first overall for the Games Challenge!

Hugo won Top Dog and some byes for the Open! First place Masters Series and some $$. Reserve Winner for Games Challenge, Speedstakes, & Biathalon events.

Excited for the UKI Open in August!

Hi! I’m Karolyn, head trainer at Sterke Agility. These are my two current agility competition dogs, Guus (left) and Hugo (right).

Hugo is 3 years old. He was a member of the 2024 Team Canada WAO world team. 2024 BC / Yukon AAC Regional Champion. UKI Spring 2023 Canada Classic Pentathlon Champion and Biathlon Champion. 2023 UKI Western Canada Fall Cup overall Top Dog. Winner of Masters Series, Speedstakes Challenge, Games Challenge, and Biathlon.

Guus is almost 2 years old and 2025 will be his first year competing!

In addition to agility, I have trained and competed in several dog sports, including disc, dock diving, and nosework. I also train and handle dogs for film work.
