Judge Annie Prange set some fun and challenging hides at this unique Performing Arts Theatre.

Afterwards, the dogs were rewarded with a swim at an amazing local dog beach.

This is a definitely a Trial to watch for next year!

Have you ever wanted to learn the exciting sport of Scent Detection? Also known as Sport Detection or Nosework, this dog sport mimics the tasks of professional detection dogs!

This series of 3 workshops will teach your dog how to hunt out a scent. The dogs will also be introduced to CKC target odours, then taken through some introductory challenges to find a hidden odour. You will also learn to begin reading your dog’s body language when they are working and how to prepare/maintain your odours. �

We will also discuss how you can continue these games at home and proceed with further training. The workshops are a combination of one on-line session and two in-person sessions with your dog.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our first official CKC Scent Detection Trial on Saturday. We had a total of 91 registrations over all levels and components.
