SPECIAL HOME NEEDED 🐱 🏡

Our sweet guy Charlie is looking for a special home! Somewhere quiet where he can just relax and come for snuggles when he wants them.

He’s sweet to humans and loves to rub up on you once he’s comfortable with you but little changes are BIG to him.

Do you know a senior looking for a kitty? HE WOULD BE PERFECT! He has been around other cats.

His adoption fee is waived and we are happy to send him with a little cat starter package too.

We just want to see him get into a home that’s right for him & free up a foster home to help more animals in need 💕

We would be lying if we said we didn’t think of this song every time we go out to hang out with this crew.

Auntie Charlee is still in training to become her best self but SASHA + PUPS will be available for adoption soon ! Applications are being accepted but they aren’t ready to go home for a few weeks yet.

HOW DID THIS CREW END UP TOGETHER?

Way back in the winter we set out to bring in Charlee + 4 pups.
The first trip out we secured 3 pups.
We went back for Charlee + 1 pup.

After traps were set we noticed a dog beeline it into one. She was happy to go in and eat food. We let her out and reset and she went on her way. 2 mins later she was back in the trap so we set her up in a nice big crate with. nice big snack.

And Charlee was trapped…

When we went to set Sasha free she beelined it under a deck on the property and we instantly knew she was headed under there with a purpose…. 🐶

We could hear puppy cries but couldn’t get in.

A trip to the store for a drill 🚘

A few deck boards remind and Sasha + pups were secured. We hadn’t planned on coming back with a mom and pups so everyone was off to the same foster home but different areas.

As the days went on we could see that Charlee would sit in the corner of her run closest to Sasha. Sasha would pace and seemed anxious, so we introduced and it was like old friends seeing each other for the first time in years.

Charlee protects the pups like they are her own while being the fun playful aunt and giving Sasha the mom break she needs. It’s adorably perfect. 👌🏻 🐾

‼️ TEX NEEDS A FOSTER ‼️

Tex needs a foster home OR BETTER YET AN ADOPTIVE HOME! And speaking of fosters… it feels like all our requests are unanswered lately and we could sure use some new fosters! We have puppies that will need to move into foster and desperately need space to help mature dogs.

🚨But our immediate need is an adoptive, foster to adopt or foster home for Tex.
We have been blessed to get him in temporary foster with Madison from Passionate Paws and have been able to learn so much about him!

🐾 His preference in dogs is a social dog respectful of boundaries. Tex lacks confidence and gets unsure about dogs who are too in his face. Hes working through this and making great strides tho! We have to remember that not all people like all people and same goes for dogs.

🐱 He’s been fine around cats.

He is very snuggly and does great on walks, fully trained and vetted, about 50 lbs.

⭐️ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

We don’t talk enough about how HARD it is running a volunteer based (and foster based) animal rescue.

Life gets busy, but rescue never slows.

It’s hard to find passionate people that just get it and want to help & we are lucky to have a handful of really great humans working daily to keep things going.

One of those amazing humans is Laura 👇🏻

Laura first joined our rescue as a foster home for mature dogs and has since fostered and found homes for 3 amazing dogs + has been committed to long term fostering TITUS as he waits to find his forever home. 🏡

When we needed to fill a secretary role she came on without hesitation and has been a vital player on the board.

She thrives at events and interacting with the public and we’re just so thankful to have her passion & eagerness to help. We don’t know what we would do without her 💓

TIFFANY is the newest resident at the Pet Valu stettler adoption bank! 🐱

She’s a very special kitty to us & a few tears 😭 are being shed on the drive home.

We’re hoping she can find THE BEST HOME.

All she asks for is a feline friend to hang out with, a comfy blanket to take her naps and if not too much to ask an emotional support beauty blender to carry around all day 😂

She can be shy at first but LOVES other cats, she’s great around dogs and she likes her snuggles, she’s just a little timid about the whole picking up situation still.

Tiffany came in as a fully feral older kitten from the sweetest ladies house. She made us work & work to capture her and bring her to safety & watching her learn to trust humans has been an honour for us.

Fully vetted, adoption fee of $150 💕
