🔥July 15th - National Pet Fire Safety Day🔥Princess Cheeto is very serious about pet fire safety. From fire escape routes to window decals for rescuers, a little prep goes a long way. Your pets health and well being is our top priority. Here are some tips to help you prepare:
🕯Never Leave Open Flames Unattended - Pets are curious! Candles, stoves, or fireplaces can easily be knocked over. Use Flameless Candles
🔌Secure Loose Wires & Cords - Pets chewing on electrical cords can start fires. Keep them tucked away or covered.
🗺Practice an Escape Plan—With Pets in Mind, know where your pets hide and keep leashes/crates near exits for quick evacuation.
🖼Place a Pet Alert Window Cling - Let firefighters know how many pets are inside.
🏠Pet-Proof Your Home When You’re Away - Confine young or anxious pets to safe areas to prevent them from accidentally starting fires.
🕵️‍♀️Microchip & ID Tags Are a Must - If your pet flees during a fire, this helps ensure they’re returned safely.

New boots on the ground! 👩‍⚕️🐄 Everyone give a warm welcome to Dr. Jordan Macko.

Growing up in Lambton County and working on local dairy and swine farms sparked Jordyn’s passion for animal agriculture early on. After earning her Animal Biology degree and graduating from OVC in 2025, she’s now diving into her career in bovine medicine and herd management 🐮💉

With a strong interest in calf health and nutrition, Jordyn is excited to bring her knowledge to our clients.

When she’s not at the clinic Jordyn lives with her partner, Shawn, and their dog, Bella. In her spare time she enjoys playing two-pitch, working in her vegetable garden, riding her horse, and working with Shawn on his family’s dairy farm.

👏We are excited to have you on our team Dr. Jordyn! 👏
