Holy smokes everyone!! I still can’t believe thanks to all of the amazing folks, especially the lovely Alyssa for having us, we were on the radio! We’ve come so far.. from just having 10 people come to the nail trim to now well over 100 each time. It’s beautiful to see the community come together for an amazing cause!❤️

Our final Animal House Showcase is the Kelsey Grant.

The project offers free pet nail trims. It was inspired by a Kingston resident who passed away in 2020. Friends have been holding the event in her honour.

We’ve chosen the rescue we’ll be helping for the month of June! Action Volunteers For Animals holds a spot dear to my heart as they helped find my first foster a beautiful home❤️ We’ll be back at RENs on June 14th from 12-3. See you then everyone!😊🐾

Today’s Animal House Showcase spotlight is on Wendel’s Warm Paws.

It is operated by Tanya Heasman helping homeless residents care for their pets. The initiative collects pet food, blankets, bowls, and other supplies.

What a turn out Sunday!!! It was marvellous to see some of our regulars and of course some new friendly faces. Thanks to all of you, we raised $719 which is going to For The Love Of Ferals!! This helps them with spays/neuters, vaccines, emergency vet visits, food, and essentials that the rescue needs to keep doing the amazing work❤️

Drum roll…… this month we’ve chosen to help support For The Love Of Ferals!
Come see us May 17th at Rens Pets from 12-3. This event is completely free however we always accept donations to help the rescue we’re helping that month. Even $1 is more than the rescue had before. We trim cat, dog, Guinea pigs, bunnies and ferret nails.

Your donations help with the costs of spays, neuters, vaccines, food and emergency vet visits. This rescue takes in cats of all ages and health conditions along with sterilizing cats and returning them back to certain locations.

Today is World Semicolon Day — a reminder that our stories aren’t over.
Mental health matters and so does su***de awareness. This day hits close to home for me, both in my own journey and in the reason behind The Kelsey Grant. It’s more than just a name, it represents love, loss and struggles people don’t see. We’re grateful for our community who shares the same visions as us❤️
If today is hard, please remember your story isn’t finished. There’s many chapters still to write. You matter. You’re loved.

At the emergency clinic...again.
It's been a wicked few weeks.
Tonight it's our newest wee one, Barnaby. He's got a fever, vomiting and no appetite or energy. Just 5 weeks, we didn't want to wait til morning as he went from normal to this in an hour and from normal temp to 40.2 quickly too.
As always, any help with the bill is welcome.
