🐾 OPEN HOUSE CANCELED THIS SATURDAY, August 15th🐾

Our open house this Saturday is canceled to give our amazing volunteers a much-needed break.

Our volunteers work incredibly hard week after week caring for the cats, cleaning, fundraising, answering messages, attending appointments, and everything in between. They deserve a little time to rest and recharge!

Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support our shelter and our volunteers. We’ll see you at our next open house!

🚨 WE’RE OUT! Donation Request 🐱

Our shelves are empty, and we’re urgently looking for donations of a few essentials for our cats!

We are currently completely out of:
Paper towel
Purina Cat Complete – Chicken
Friskies Pâté

If you’re able to donate any of these items, every bag, box, and can makes a difference!

🐶FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS, THANK YOU! 😻

We are beyond grateful to everyone who showed up and supported our Paws for a Cause BBQ! Together, we raised an incredible $6,226.50 through BBQ sales, silent auction tickets, bake sale goodies, yard sale and book sales, and generous donations from our community.

The Kenora Cat Shelter and A Dog’s Life Fostering Network, will receive $3,113.25 to directly support the animals in our care. Every dollar will help provide the food, veterinary care, supplies and love these animals need while they wait for their forever homes. 🤍

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers who made this event possible! From setting up and directing traffic to running the BBQ, bake sale, yard sale, Open House, Meet the Hounds, face painting, silent auction and cleanup — you stepped up wherever needed. We truly couldn’t have done it without you! 🤍🐾
