You are our greatest asset. Thank you for all you give big or small. All the shares, all the likes and all the help. We are able to assists families who feel defeated and lost work with their dogs for a better more balanced life. These dogs aren’t being euthanized because it has been told there is no hope or people think rehoming will solve the issues. Dogs will always thrive better with the people they love and trust and they deserve that chance.

Pet photos and you can never have enough! Another way to help support Meike!

Big announcement, am from happy hounds, and myself are hosting a photo shoot on December 6.
all the funds raised are going back to the rescue. We will also be accepting food donations for the food bank.
This is an awesome opportunity to get some great pictures of your pets with a beautiful wintry backdrop. We will only allow one family into the building at a time to keep the stress levels though for the animals and to get the best options for pictures.

Would love to have you guys show up come out and help support and get some great photos.

This Sunday not only will we be doing Santa photos but we are also going to help you clear out your empties for the start of HOLIDAY PARTY SEASON with a BOTTLE DRIVE

Bring your empties to The Groomery 2300 HUNTER RD this Sunday (Nov 23rd ) from 9am-4pm all the empties collected will help supplement the cost of Meike’s training who’s scheduled to start at the end of the month! We are short of our goal so every bottle counts!

For each bag or box donated you will get one ballot in to win a cute little basket of dog treats and toys! So gather those bottles up and see you there!

Oh and a few spots left for santa photos may as well book in for double duty!

We are about 1/2 way to our goal of $4000 if you can help us to to help Meike we are her last hope as her family can no longer handle her or help her with her needs past what they have been able given the resources they have. They do truly love her and unfortunately right now are facing a financial barrier to put her in a board and train program recommended and we know how important this is for her. Meike and her family will recieve the help they need to help her without medication, without having to try and rehome her (which would be impassible with this severe behavior) or without having to euthanize. This sweet girl is only 2 years old. Please help us to help her and her family.

He’ll thrive with a family who can give him the love, attention, and guidance he needs. With early positive intervention training and continued socialization, Kevin will grow into a well-balanced, devoted companion who will be by your side through every adventure.

Kevin is up to date on vaccines, dewormer, and microchipped. We will provide a $200 certificate to go towards his neuter at one of our vet partners when he's a bit older. He is located in the Kelowna area. His vet recovery is $400.

Axel is ready to find an active, patient, and understanding home as he’s very much a puppy still learning. He barks at strangers but just needs to build on his confidence - treats help to warm him up. He loves other dogs but doesn’t understand boundaries cause he just wants to play and play and play all the time. He loves his toys and is very food motivated but can guard his food to other dogs. He is crate trained and working on house training. He loves walks and car rides. He is a busy guy who can be very vocal when he’s excited and wants to play or wants his dinner! He does well with cats, older kids and can’t wait to meet his forever family!

Axel is neutered, up to date with vaccines, deworming, and microchipped. His vet recovery to adopt is $300. Located in Kelowna.

A festive day for pups (and their people). Join us on November 23rd, 2025, from 9 AM–4 PM at The Groomery (2300 Hunter Road) in Kelowna for Santa photos, dog-friendly fun, and a few amazing local vendors.

Santa photo sessions are $50 and must be booked in advance with Nicole at : [email protected]. Proceeds go to . Walk-ins may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

Bring all pets! We’re reactive dog friendly—just let us know when booking so we can make the space needed for your best friend.
