6-year-old male Husky mix dog

Meet Bear, a loyal, affectionate companion who loves cuddles, car rides, and being close to his people. He gets along well with other dogs but may be a bit protective of his favorite human—easily managed with gentle guidance.

Bear is working on leash manners, knows basic commands, and does well on an easy-walk harness. He’s quiet overall but may vocalize in a kennel—he just wants to be included.

He’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and can offer structure and consistency. Older kids are a great match.

Bear comes neutered, vet-checked, vaccinated, and microchipped.
$200 vet cost recovery to adopt.

I can tell you that this absolute love bug is a bundle of joy. He’s so loving, very chill and as long as he’s where you are he’s the happiest boy in the world! Please someone adopt him. He just celebrated his 6 birthday yesterday I am told ❤️❤️❤️

CHO needs a new family and we are happy to supplement the training he will need once he gets there. If you feel like you are the right home and are willing to give extra love and training so he can be the best boyyyyy

Meet Cho est dob 01/04/24 .
This boy has made so much progress, and we’re excited to update you all on his journey! This sweet, affectionate boy is currently working hard on ongoing desensitization and training. While he’s still a bit overexcited at times, he’s showing real improvement and learning to manage his energy better each day.
Cho can be reactive to some dogs and doesn’t always get along with every pup he meets, so he would do best in a home with a carefully matched dog friend like his gentle giant foster bro!
Despite this, Cho remains an absolute love bug! He’s funny, playful, and incredibly affectionate. He may need an experienced handler to help him work through his quirks, but with the right guidance, he’s going to continue to thrive and grow into an even more amazing companion.
Cho is looking for someone who will continue his training and provide him with the love and structure he needs. If you think you’re the right fit for this goofy, sweet boy, we’d love to hear from you!

I love this program so much! Huskys need adventures (well all dogs do) but Husky brains truly require it. They don’t always do well in a shelter environment either. Look at our sweet Conan who wasn’t always that way because he was wound up. If you live in the area reach out to to this program ❤️❤️

We are so grateful to partner with for the love of Jack program. This program is designed to break the financial barriers to training to help make it more affordable to those who qualify and help you get your dog on track. Recently we had $600 collected from the use of this program and we received this little update on a dog who needed a board and train and we applied the $600 raised she picked up her dog yesterday. She had big hugs for both Jake and I she was so happy with her new well-behaved dog had changed her life so much.

We understand that dogs are family and you don’t give up on family despite what some places will tell you.

A big thank you to the team for using the memory of their beloved Jack to give back to the community and make a huge difference in peoples lives.

WOLF IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME:
This is a courtesy post and is not in our care but if a home is found we will help supplement training and he will need to be neutered asap:

He is incredibly smart and wants to please. We have done a lot of training and he is quick to pick up anything new. Very food driven. Doesn’t have accidents in the house.

He has been raised with my three elementary aged kids and while he is typically good with them, he has shown some resource guarding and growled if they were too close to his toy or food. We have worked on this and it hasn’t happened in the last few weeks.

We are currently working through a possible allergy to his kibble, as it seems to cause diarrhea. Stool firms right up on a diet of rice, pumpkin and egg. So we are working to find a kibble that agrees with him.

-crate trained
-leash trained
-housebroken
-good with cats
-good with other dogs
-off leash recall ✅
-very food driven, learns quickly

-has shown resource guarding with toys and food but is improving
-not neutered as he is only 6 months but is up to date with shots and deworming

Hippo needs a home! This guy has been in training for several weeks and is ready to find his forever home. He’s a 2 year old mastiff mix who needs an experienced dog owner with strong personal boundaries and a big heart. He would do best on a bit of land with a quiet home and social life. No kids or other pets would be best, but he is capable of making friends and could works well with the right fit.

He is not currently in our care you can message me or with any questions and if you are interested!

Hippo is so dang cute let’s find him a home located in Nelson but can travel for the right home
