Sesame Chicken Potstickers πŸ₯ŸπŸ₯’

********* Ingredients *********
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
2 green onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 package round potsticker or gyoza wrappers (about 24)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1/2 cup water

For the dipping sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, cabbage, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, and white pepper.
Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the center of each wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold over and pinch the edges to seal, forming a half-moon shape.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Working in batches, add the potstickers in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Carefully pour in 1/4 cup of water and immediately cover with a lid. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the wrappers are translucent and cooked through.
Remove the lid and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the bottoms are crispy.
Repeat with the remaining potstickers, adding more oil and water as needed.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and chili flakes (if using) to make the dipping sauce.
Serve the potstickers hot with the dipping sauce on the side.

JalapeΓ±o Popper Wontons

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced jalapeΓ±o peppers
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
24 wonton wrappers
Oil for frying
Ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeΓ±o peppers, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Place a teaspoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half to form a triangle, and press the edges firmly to seal.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large deep skillet to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Fry the wontons in batches, without overcrowding, until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping.
