🌟 Faith and Horsemanship 🌟
Have you every realized how amazing the connection is between our journey in faith and horsemanship?
When we slow down, we allow our horses to trust us, think clearly, and make good decisions. Ultimately being able to provide them with the peace the leadership provides.
Just like in our faith, slowing down allows us to hear the whispers of the Holy Spirit. When we rush through life, we become easy targets for the enemy’s lies and distractions, losing sight of God’s peace and guidance.
For me, it’s a constant challenge not to take control of everything and plan out my life. But God doesn’t reveal the whole vision at once. He asks us to trust Him step by step, knowing that He is leading us in the right direction.
With our horses, it’s the same. When they’re in a hurry to react, they can’t hear the softness of our cues—the gentle beginning or ending. But when they slow down, they see the clarity of what we’re asking and find rest in small, simple steps that lead to peace.
This year, let’s commit to slowing down, trusting the process, and finding peace & rest—in both our faith and our horsemanship.
Understanding that both are a journey, and no one's looks perfect!
To get better at recognizing the moment we lose or peace, or our horse loses their peace, and practice the tools that can bring us back, spending more and more time in the peace the Faith & good horsemanship can provide!
