Snails and Betta Tails

Snails and Betta Tails Hello! This is the beginning of my fish store so please ask about any species you're interested in!

I also rehab sickly Bettas before rehoming them so keep an eye open for my little buddies and their glow ups!

As stated in the listing they are currently just over a month old and live for about 1-2 years.

Their preferred parameters are as follows:

Difficulty: Beginner
Tank Size: 5 gallons for 1
Temperature: 70-80° F
pH: 7-8
Adult Size: Golf Ball
Lifespan: 1-2 years
Diet: Omnivores who love algae and won't eat live plants (unless starving)
Temperament: Peaceful
Social: They couldn't care less about others but will breed prolifically if a male and female are present
Other: As stated they are either male or female. Females will lay their eggs above the surface of the water on your glass or under your lid. If you don't want them you can crush them up and feed them to your fish. If you let them hatch it takes about 3-4 weeks on average and you will have 100 or more. They also have a really long breathing tube that they don't usually show.

As invertebrates they require calcium in their tanks (found in cuttle bone, sepia bone, crushed up coral or cooked and crushed egg shells) and tannins (found in driftwood, almond leaves and alder cones).

If you have any questions whatsoever please don't hesitate to reach out! 🩷🐌

Meet Orbit!
This boy is a gorgeous black and silver crowntail who is missing his right eye after a fight with pop eye.
He's spunky and interactive, he will even play tic tac toe! He's not a picky eater and seems to attempt hunting shrimp but isn't very good at it because of his partial blindness.
I am asking $10 for him because of the medication used.
Please reach out if you'd like to take Orbit home to a new world!

Hello! I'd like to make a post detailing who I am and my experience so as to bring in a bit more traffic to my start up business!
My name is Nessa!
I have worked in multiple pet stores that sell fish, and have also owned my own aquariums for a few years now (currently at 21 tanks 😅).
I am the type of person who researches everything I can about a creature before I get one, and does everything I can to keep the creature happy and healthy.
I AM NOT AN EXPERT!
I would like to help people avoid the mistakes I've made and the best way to know for certain is to do your own research. I am just a gal with a passion and a lot of information.
However, if you have any random questions that you just can't find the answer to, feel free to ask! I may have gone down a rabbit hole on that exact topic at some point!

Currently I breed Mystery snails (Pomacea bridgesii, gold Inca snail or spike-topped apple snail) and sell them at $5 each. I also re-home Bettas (Betta Splendens) after rehabilitating them. I have lots of guppies (Poecilia reticulata), and am in the process of separating shrimp (Neocaridina) to create colonies of distinct colours!
Feel free to message me about anything and everything!
I'm excited to hear from everyone!

*UPDATE*
Telemacus has been adopted!!

Say hello to Telemacus! He is a gorgeous red crowntail Betta with some beautiful blue and white patterns on his fins. He likes glaring at people, blowing a big bubble nest (and then acting like there's babies to guard when there really isn't), and munching on shrimp.
The first picture is him now, while the next are within the first few days after bringing him home. Poor guy was depressed, skinny and pale. Didn't take long for him to feel happy and confident in his new environment though!
He is now ready for a new home! Do be aware that with his shrimp munching ways he would more than likely go after any other fish as well. Especially with his nesting behaviour. I recommend a 5-10 gallon tank with maybe a snail or two (but be aware he may munch them as well).
Please contact me for more info on this spicy dude!
