Twas the day before Christmas and all through the valley
The pet sitter hurried, no time to dilly or dally.
The cats all need feeding, there's litter to scoop
The dogs all need walking and picking up p**p

Juggling house keys and codes to the door
Calico cats, count them, one two three four
Guinea pigs snack on their cucumber bites
Fresh water and hay to make all things right

Cats making biscuits when they start to knead
A special diet for Archie, and check if he peed
Timbit’s a scamp, his brother Oscar is scruffy
Cuddles for cats named Shadow, Smokey and Fluffy

House to house all day long, to the next in a snap
A quick bite for lunch, no time to nap
Pets happy and healthy, the best job there is
