🌞Summer is a season of sun-soaked adventures—but for our four-legged companions, it also brings serious risks that often go unnoticed.

💧Hydration Isn’t Just About Water Bowls
Dogs can’t sweat like we do. They rely on panting and minimal sweat through their paws to regulate temperature. That makes them especially vulnerable to dehydration in summer. Make sure your dog always has access to cool, clean water—and remember, if you’re hot and thirsty, they probably are too.

🔥 Hidden Summer Dangers:

🐾 Paws on Pavement:
Asphalt and concrete absorb heat fast—surfaces can reach over 140°F (60°C) even when air temps are just 85°F. That’s enough to burn your dog’s pads in under a minute. Try the “7-second rule”: If you can’t hold your hand on the ground for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog.

🚗 No Dog Left Behind:
Even a few minutes in a hot car can be fatal. Temperatures inside a vehicle can soar to over 100°F within 10 minutes—even with cracked windows. Never leave your pet unattended in the car, even briefly.
