Hi everyone …. happy Friday long time no post. Sorry about that folks!!!
I usually am right on with my holiday posts but not this year …… so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year’s and Happy to be Valentine’s Day all wrapped up into one sincere and grateful greeting!!!
We’ve been busy outside of the aviary and taking a little bit of a break on a personal note and after 12 years it was much much needed.
Still in operation but far from what we call being in full swing.
Just really getting back into it, doing our spring cleaning and have birds on nest and like the rest of you seriously looking forward to spring breaking through after a long winter!
We have some pictures to follow as we do have a few babies now.
To anyone who was interested in conure babies we do have two little ones in our incubator right now being hand fed.
We also have a few Fisher lovebird babies, and some budgie babies…..everybody is fully weaned, except for a couple of conure babies that are doing well but we are not quite sure about the colouring yet.
I would invite anyone to inquire by way of private message if you may be interested.

More Facebook issues!!!
It says I have 20 messages but I don’t see them. I’m getting lots of messages through so I’m hoping it’s a glitch in the number posted for “unread messages”.
On the off chance people are not getting a response then Please try us through our email at: [email protected].
I can’t take calls in the aviary, but you could send a telephone text message if you choose.
As long as the inquiry is in a text message or an email I can respond as I’m able.
I’m hoping it’s just another system glitch as I’ve had many other issues over the last three years.
Thank you for your patience. I know mine’s wearing thin.

Aviary news we’re doing a big fall cleanup and just taking time out to enjoy the flock. We still have a few babies available some conures, cockatiels, lovebirds, budgies and finches.
What a beautiful fall …… the birds are really enjoying this time of year and some have gone back to their nest!!!

Huge hello out to all the followers of this page. Apologize for not posting much this season.
Facebook has made a ton of changes and my business suite has had so many issues around posting that I gave up for a little while but it has kept all of my followers in this one place, so I’m thankful for that… and I’ll have to figure out all the changes and how to use them properly as I go along.
As we’re coming into fall, I would like to remind everyone to protect your birds from cold drafts by making sure all the windows are closed at night as it’s starting to get cold now and we do tend to get calls in this regard. Also for anyone needing wing or nail trims, we have lots of openings available for anyone wanting to get a fall trim in on their bird.

We currently have available: zebra finches, budgies, fishers, lovebirds, cockatiels, and both pineapple and green cheek, conures.
We don’t have many but there are some birds still available..
Want to remind our customers that we also do consulting, DNA processing, boarding services and regular maintenance such as wing, nail or beak, trims as necessary .
We offer ongoing support to all of our customers so no question is a silly question and remember any change in your Bird’s behaviour is always usually for a good reason.
Hope everyone enjoys the upcoming fall season and hope to hear from anyone interested in adoption, boarding or any of of our other services.

I have lost my yellow Grey color Cocktail parrot yesterday, my bird was in my daughter hands and suddenly escaped from her hands. My bird is 3 months old and has Orange color patch on both cheeks . If you have found or find in future please contact: 5069614129 .

My flock has been busy chirping and fluttering! It’s amazing to see how much personality these little birds have. Watching them interact and play is such a joy.
If you’ve ever considered adding a budgie to your family, feel free to reach out - I’d be happy to chat about what makes these little guys so special !

Hi everyone, hope you had a Happy Halloween. We had a ton of fun got dressed up for the first time in years.
So the DNA was back last week on the youngest of the Conures that are available so it turns out they were all boys so I have::
——three male green cheek
——one female green cheek
——one female turquoise
——three female Cockatiels and
——English and Australian budgies for adoption.
We show our birds by appointment from Tuesday through Saturdays 1 PM to 5 PM each day. We’re also booking for fall wing and nail trims for anyone interested in getting in before it gets too cold and of course our boarding room is available all season long. Christmas gets busy so if you have dates that you’re going away, you should tentatively book with us to make sure that we have the space available.

UPDATE: Little Richard is back home safe and sound, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Someone turned him into the pet value in Mill Cove and because they seen our post they knew it was him…. we love you, Richard. Glad you’re home little buddy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone this year we’re taking the time to make a list of everything that we’re grateful for and it’s a long list!!!
Of course were forever grateful for our wonderful customers who we’ve made friends with and stayed in touch with over the years. We appreciate you all and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!!!

Hi everyone, hope all is well and everyone’s enjoying the beautiful weather…. We’ve been busy cleaning and hand feeding babies and we have our conures now transferred into a flight cage from the incubator although they’re still hand feeding three of them are pretty close to being ready.
Two are yellow sided and one is a green cheek (DNA submitted) and then the other three younger ones are green cheek.
We also have a couple Cockatiel females still available. One is dark gray, and one lutino…. Three more babies are ready to be pulled to begin hand feeding now.
We have some new additions in Lovebird breeding and we do have one baby fisher love Bird available for adoption and expect to have some more lovely lovebirds available soon.
Always lots of beautiful budgies, both Australian fancy and English available.
Also reminding everyone to schedule your fall wing and/or nail trim while the weather is still great!!!

Hi everyone…. Hope y’all are enjoying the beautiful weather…. The birds shore are and they’re keeping very busy over here!!!
We have two clutches of three babies, each for conures in our incubator …. Some colouring is in on them and there’s at least three yellow sided, probably three green cheek!!!
We also have some baby cockatiels that are just completing their weaning process and we’ve even had a few more recently hatch.
Of course, we always have a beautiful selection of budgies and we’re just setting up a couple of boxes for some really beautiful birds that were excited about!!!
The Caiques have been introduced to a box and although they didn’t show a whole lot of interest in it, they were mouth feeding for a while, and then they settled down, but I will be setting them up again soon in a more permanent setting.
I’ve been trying them in a couple of different cages to see what they prefer and of course I can’t get enough of them. They’re so much fun. It’s almost hard to want to breed these birds because they are so very interactive and breeding them will change some of that at least while they’re in that mode and hopefully I don’t lose my bond with them through the process.
The last photo is of one little turquoise girl who has to be rehomed due to her adoption not working out due to a job change for her daddy Bird ….She’s so sweet very interactive little Bird very personable.
