It was a busy week at Bennville as we added a couple chestnuts to our collection! Last Sunday Suzie Q (Scolari/Londonderry) delivered a healthy c**t by Secret Escape. And yesterday, Heisses Hoeschen (His Highness/ Waikiki) had a civilized lunch time birth of another Secret Escape c**t. Early this morning we welcomed this new little filly into the world. By Bonhoeffer and out of 4 year old Spice of Life (Secret/Zoom/Vitalis), she came to the world quickly and easily and we are grateful that she is doing amazing so far. Spicy, who made a little replica of herself, is being an amazing mother, and we can't wait to see how the little one develops. Hopefully our foaling season will continue this way!

Loving seeing some new footage of "Secret Escape" (Secret/Dreseman) as we hope to welcome two Secret Escape foals in the coming weeks. Our mares Suzie Q (Scolari/Londontime) and Heisses Hoeschen (His Highness/Waikiki) are both in foal with Secret Escape, and we are praying for a safe delivery of 2 healthy, beautiful foals.

Our very own Ruby featured in some footage from last summer at this great local show series! The Hamilton Hunt Club volunteers put on a well run, affordable and welcoming show series that is great for getting young horses out and about! Check them out this summer if you are in the area.

Very proud that our filly (pictured below) by Von und Zu and out of Little Bit Alexis (Livaldon/ Belissimo) was selected as one of the top ten Hanoverian foals in Canada this year. This gorgeous little filly has been a star from day one!

Our 3 year old mare "Spice of Life" (Secret/Zoom/Vitalis) attended her Hanoverian Studbook Inspection in early September. She was accepted into the main Studbook, and we were very proud of her receiving a 1A Prize and an overall score of "8", including 8s for her walk and for impulsion and elasticity. We lightly backed this mare this summer, and we have our fingers crossed for a safe delivery of a healthy foal by Bonhoeffer from her in 2026.

"Bruno", our Beau Balou son out of our mare St.Pr. Lady Darina (Londontime/Donnerhall) also attended the inspection at Winterwood. He showed off his lovely movement and calm, brave demeanor, and gained positive comments from the judges who remarked on his suitability for the hunter ring. With his brains, the lovely flowing gaits he is already showing, and if he can jump anything like his dad, we certainly agree with that! This kind gentleman is for sale.
