What are Mucky Mutts Collars & Leashes made from and what makes them unique? Our biothane collars and leashes are lovingly handcrafted in Nova Scotia, Canada. Biothane is a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it durable, waterproof and easy to clean. It comes in a wide variety of colours, is waterproof, mudproof, stinkproof and ideal for any active dog, no matter the terrain the

y play in. Mucky Mutts Collars & Leashes are perfect for those adventurous dogs and owners, and for that classic Canadian weather. Some benefits of Biothane:

As an alternative to nylon, Biothane never holds onto moisture, smell, or debris in the same way that fabric collars can. Its protective coating makes it water-resistant, and bothersome debris, like burrs, won’t get caught in the dog collar. Washing the collar is a snap — simply using water and soap is enough to get rid of any mess. Sizing Info:

Our collars come in ¾ inch and 1 inch widths and are available in the following sizes. Small – 10-13”
Medium – 13-16”
Large – 16-19”
Extra Large – 19-22”
Custom: this is the best fitting collar where we make the middle hole line up with the measurements you give us. Send us a message to discuss sizing! We are happy to help! Our leashes come in lengths of 4, 5, 6 and 8 feet and are available in single colours or 2 tone colours. To order:

We are currently in the process of setting up our Etsy Shop and website. Our collars and leashes can be shipped anywhere in Canada. Supporting Rescue:

We believe in dog rescue. We currently run a dog rescue called North East Paws Dog Rescue where we rescue Northern Canadian dogs and adopt them into homes in Nova Scotia. The rescue is currently on a pause due to lack of flights because of Covid-19 but that doesn't mean there still aren't dogs in need. We continue to sponsor spay and neuter programs in the North and support rescues across Canada continuing to help Northern dogs. $1 from each sale of our collars and leashes will be donated to Canadian rescues chosen by Mucky Mutts Collars & Leashes.

Do you love the heat? Is it hot where you are? We've been loving the summer heat here this July in Nova Scotia and I must admit it's been a whole lot more enjoyable since we got a heat pump this year 😂
