💛 STUART IS ENTERING A NEW ERA 💛
Our little lad is entering a very special new chapter!
After so many hurdles and unexpected surprises, we’ve made the decision to keep Stuart in our care forever. His foster family is officially becoming his forever family, while we continue to cover his ongoing medical expenses.
It’s hard to believe that in just four months with us, Stuart has undergone three major procedures, leaving him with fewer teeth and one less eye. While he has now been declared a healthy boy, he has surprised us one too many times for us to feel comfortable placing him for adoption and leaving someone else responsible for his ever-growing “old man” bills.
Instead, Stuart will be joining his friend Dumbledore in our sanctuary program, where he will be loved beyond words for the rest of his days. We’ll continue sharing weekly updates on how he’s doing, but Stuart is no longer available for adoption—he is exactly where he belongs, happy and deeply loved by his parents.
We couldn’t be happier for Stuart and his family, and we’re so grateful to remain such a big part of his journey, no matter how long it may be.
To his parents: we know you’re completely obsessed with him, and we know you’d make this decision over and over again. Thank you for being the absolute best people for him, for your patience with his daily needs, and for embracing every bit of chaos he’s brought our way.
We love you guys, and we can’t wait to watch Stuart thrive in his forever home. ❤️
