Gabriola Pack Walk and Play Nothing tires out a dog like another dog! Finally I'm dipping my toe in the water as I drop to part time telework and part time dream job. Where, you ask?

Gabriola Pack Walk & Play has been a business I've wanted to launch for a long time (and admittedly inspired by the amazing pack walks my dogs used to join with Mathew Hatherley in Ucluelet). I've had animals since I was a kid and hauled home every critter that's needed a helping hand along the way. For decades I've been involved in rescue and foster, whether it's been the desert dogs of the Sinai

, Arctic huskies or the umpteen golden retrievers I've fostered (or foster-failed) over they years. Your canine family will come out with our crew on a long line and go on adventures! Well that will depend on their character, the group and the weather.

In the last couple weeks I've noticed a subtle shift in some of my pack members when I pick them up. They play bow when they see me. My Angus (the big goofy golden in the videos) does this to me all the time in our private play. It seems they've been chatting and it's spreading (I'm guessing they watch each other during pickup). It's pretty cool. So far I've noticed Byrdie, Terra, Surfer, Lewis, Tonga, Harley, Pepper, Joni, Obi and Ember doing it. I'm sure there are more but I've only really noticed how frequent it is this week.
