For those of you without experience with Children's pythons, let me tell you they are weirdos and doing things upside down seems to be par for the course. Tabitha decided to eat her mouse upside down, as one does. Has anyone else with this species experienced similar behaviors?   🐍

Here's a cool one for ya! There is an especially bright individual in my colony. If not already it's very close to breeding age and since the colony is relatively small, this lone individual will remain with the main group.

We got a dangler! Wolfgang has always been quite the character but since he's been in this new setup he's really bloomed! We find him like this several times a day as it's part of his regular basking loop. Anyone else have a dangle dragon?

really is a such a giant species! The largest male wouldn't sit still (check the video). A smaller male did manage to sit still long enough to get a shot next to a quarter and even he makes it look small! A couple months ago I found they recently had babies for the first time in almost 2 years! Check the last photo for a comparison, it might even be the same male next to the quarter. These guys are so cool!

A couple duplicates but they're some of my favourites and very popular species that I hope to have available again soon.

In case you missed it last week did a presentation of how to put together a setup and decorated this wonderful setup! While specifically for anoles this would work great for any small, tropical, arboreal reptile, amphibian, or whatever else. A bunch of different plants that are small now but should fill it in quite nicely. Lots of large leaf litter and botanicals for the isopods who will act as cleanup crew. This is a refresh of an old setup, the background was made 2 years ago. The old setup had an alocasia that got way too big and took over the tank. Hopefully this iteration works a little better. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and looks great! Can't wait to watch it fill in!
