Why is compatibility so important with daycare? Not only is it stressful already for your dog to be away from you, but also new environment, new person, and new dogs. Making sure we are compatible from the beginning is the best way to make sure your dog stays emotionally and physically well while you're away. I want a good connection with your dog so you also feel comfortable leaving your fur baby with me. I'm a dog mom of two. I completely understand the stress and worry you have leaving your babies behind, but don't worry they'll get all the love, praise, treats and play time with me and my dogs!

So now that all the important introductions have been made for my dogs, let me introduce myself. My name is Danni, I am a 31 year old female graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University. I live in Belwood Ontario. Apparently Facebook doesn't recognize such a small town so I have it listed as Fergus. I currently work as a project coordinator for a fire suppression company in Guelph during the weekdays.
I have always had such a love and passion for animals and I've been thinking about this for several years now, and finally decided this is what I want to do. Being surrounded by dogs is when I'm my happiest so why not make a job of it? I have had several different breeds of dogs in my life, but also had many friends with dogs growing up. I believe a dog needs a good balance between getting spoiled and getting trained. Dogs are so special in their unconditional love and I just want to be able to make their days full of love, happiness and fun!
If you have any questions at all feel free to message me or email. I understand the worry of someone else watching your fur babies when you're gone so I will do my best to put you and your babies at ease through the time apart. I look forward to meeting all of you and all the different personalities your dogs have.

Introducing Casey. Casey is a 15 year old toy apricot poodle. Originally my dog, but adopted my dad while I was in university and she's never looked back! Casey is very smart, although she is deaf and partially blind. This doggo spends most of her time sleeping in her bed or being held. You may see her some weekends so don't forget to say hello when you see her!

Introducing Ecko! Ecko is a spunky 1.5 year old American Fox Red Lab. She's a little timid at first, but once she gets to know you, you're officially friends forever. Ecko is extremely playful and energetic. Don't let her beautiful looks fool you though, she's a very smart mischievous little girl. She will melt your heart with her hugs (yes she hugs people) and snuggles. Something you should know about Ecko is that she's a sock stealer! Your socks are never safe unless they are on your feet. Ecko will be looking forward to running around and playing with other dogs when they come for daycare days!

Introducing Shilo! My 7 year old English Chocolate Lab. Shilo is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. She loves everyone, all animals included, and is always happy no matter the situation. She loves playing ball and tug of war. There's one big thing you need to know about Shilo, she thinks she's a lap dog! Shilo weighs in around 90 pounds, but that doesn't stop her from cuddling up! I'm sure Shi can't wait to meet some new friends!

Are you looking for personalized weekend care for your dog? Big or small feel assured your dog will not be put in a cage or socially isolated during their stay. They can roam like they're at home when they're with me! When you drop your dog off they will be treated like my own fur babies. You can decide if your dog would be better on group walks or individual walks during their stay. All dogs will feel right at home with my relaxed home environment. Do you need overnight care? No problem! Your dog can decide where it wants to sleep. Whether they like cuddling up to a human or having their own space in a nice bed to sleep, they can make up their own mind in that moment. Do you want to be updated about what your dog is up to? Just ask for updates and they will be sent regularly or daily depending on YOUR preference. A little background:

I am 27 years old and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University where I studied Biology. I currently have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab named Shilo and an 11 year old toy poodle named Casey. I have had other breeds of dogs as well such as Rottweilers, but I’m very comfortable around all breeds of dogs. Working with dogs has always been a passion of mine and I’m hoping I will be able to make this daycare a reality.

I’m looking to start a doggy daycare because, as a dog owner myself, I didn’t like leaving Shilo alone for hours throughout the day. It’s not fair to her and I know she deserves to have fun and play all day; especially get social with other dogs! I want there to be places available to take your dog that you know you can trust. I’m starting up this daycare in hopes that other people won’t have to leave their dogs at home all day either. They always say a tired dog is a good dog! Please let me know if you would be interested in any of the services.
