Blues Bandito. The last of 7 full siblings, his dam and sire now both deceased. He survived an umbilical infection as a foal and extremely deep cut to a front foot and laceration to a back hind pastern when he was 2. It was over a year before he was completely healed. Amazingly he has no permanent limp.

Videoed on my cell phone, Nov. 1/22 just before we got hit with our first winter storm.
He is focused on our neighbours draft mares that had just been moved to a pasture at least a mile away. Horses know horses lol.

NFS Cowboys Heritage: Cell phone photos. Tried this am to get some photos of something other than a horse nose 😂 managed a butt shot. Then just after chores in the late day sun he decided to pose… but way across the pen. Kinda dreamy focus and I couldn’t pick just one so I added them all.

I haven’t updated Misty’s photo (cell phone) since she was a foal. A good sized soggy mare, parked way downhill on uneven ground but the light was right and she stood still long enough. A 5 year old Cowboy Valentine daughter out of Fintry Zella Hancock.

Taken this am October 6 2022 with my cell phone. Not ideal I much preferred my real camera but these show how this young stud is maturing. Meanwhile he’s thinking what is your problem?! As I jump around like a fool trying to get him to stop following me. Oh the joys of taking candid photos by yourself lol.
